Marianne Sligting (26-10-1956)

Studied at the Royal Academy of Art (Rijksakademie en the Rietveld Academy (Amsterdam) and the Academie des Beaux Arts (Paris). This provided her with a large repertory of skills in painting and drawing for which the foundation was already laid down by her father who was also a well recognized painter in Amsterdam.

Since the eighties she became an independent painter, whose competence was well recognized, and received a yearly stipendium by the Dutch government. She produced many works of art commissioned by private companies and government agencies. During the last decade she distributes her artistic activities over Amsterdam and the South of France.
